My name is Skit. I'm a 15 year old female from Lewisville, TX. I am very much into poetry and philosophy. In this site, you will find some of my poetry, some of my friends' poetry, and some poems from various poets around the world, dead and living. You will also see some of my own philosphies on life and religion. I am telling you right now, so it doesn't come as a surprise later, that most of my poetry is morbid, as well as my philosphies and theories. If you do not like dark poetry such as Edgar Allen Poe, or Shakespeare, please feel free to leave. Well, lets see here. I love poetry. It's how I vent. When I get angry at my mom or my friends or family, I write down really not nice things that eventually end up into what I like to call poetry. I also enjoy listening to music 'cause, well, it has a tendency to just take me away. I have a vivid imagination, by the way. I mainly listen to alternative or hard rock, but I have been known to listen to a variety of music. Also, my philosophies come from observations that I make. They are mainly on people and their behavior, such as unhappy people and how they treat others in accordance to unhappy they are. That's me. I'm a freak for literature. Mainly the type where everyone except for the antagonist ends up dead at the end. It's funny, because I am a very cheerful person. But I guess that's just who I am.
